Love in the time of COVID-19

Planning a wedding during a global pandemic ain’t easy. But it is important. Your wedding matters! Having something to look forward to matters. Believing that the people close to you will be able to get together and celebrate love matters. Publicly declaring your love and commitment matters.

I wanted to let you know that I am committed to making your wedding a success, and addressing some COVID what ifs and safety concerns…

  • What if we cannot go ahead because of lockdown restrictions?
During this period I will do my best to offer an alternative date, and can provide a change of date for free.

  • What if you’re not available for a new date?
I am lucky to be part of the Humanists UK network, so I know some pretty cool celebrants who can step in. If I have already written your script, they can use it, or if not, they will work with you to create something special and personal. They have had the same excellent training as me, so I am confident they will live up to your expectations. The proportion of your deposit that I return will be dependent on how much work I have already done.

Safe wedding working

I am optimistic that we will see a return to large weddings during 2021, and certainly by 2022. Until normality returns, I will do my best to work within the restrictions to keep the people around me safe. This means that the majority of planning sessions will be conducted online.
