Finally… Hannah + James’ classic wedding at Woodstock Wedding Barn

Hannah + James found each other young: year seven in fact! So they’ve grown up together. When they decided to marry, after many years together, bloody Covid got in the way! Three date changes later, I was very pleased to marry them at the beautiful Woodstock Wedding Barn, just outside York. We made it worth the wait!

During the ceremony, Hannah and James exchanged personal wedding vows which they had written themselves, with a tiny bit of tweaking from me! They both opted to keep their wedding vows a secret, which meant that they each had an emotional surprise on the day.

I love you,
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am when I am with you.

I love you,
Not only for what you have made of yourself,
But for what you are making of me.

Hannah’s friend Ellie delivered a beautiful reading during the wedding ceremony. Roy Croft’s I Love You reflects on the power of love to transform a person, helping them be the best version of themselves.

As ever, lots of amazing people came together to make this day happen!
